I'm frustrated. I have to do a project for uni, a hiking map. something I will never want to do for a living. seriously never. you scan a topological map, insert it in illustrator and then repaint everything just with the details you need. as in my case, hiking routes... boring! I'd rather learn how to program stuff and more fun things! argh.

Hello goodbye
I just had two days of mostly doing nothing and almost being in bed the whole time. Much needed after a really busy period in my life.
I had the most amazing trip to Australia and came back one week before my exam period started which I did quite well. Then a flight to Munich and a needed reunion with my boyfriend there, my sisters wedding and a few city trips in Germany and a last week in Berlin together until R left again for down under... And so now I am back alone in Berlin, exams are coming up again but I started to enjoy spring and got a new hobby, lacrosse. I still need to find motivation to study and do some work but it will come. The whole internship story is going on my nerves and long distance anyway but there is nothing to change about it, cause love just hurts especially when you are apart. Oh I can't wait and I am already counting until I finally got my degree next year in July!
So much about what is going on and now just a few pictures

work, uni, doctors and a bit of other stuff...
got my international student identity card, so a new thing done from my long to do list before Australia!
went for a 40 min run with one of my flatmates.
got 3 other ones to sign up for the run (great!)
have uni tomorrow at 10 (skipping the 8 o'clock thing, as usual...), havn't done any homework for that (and we had a lot to do), have two boring english classes too...
so, I have private healthcare here in germany which some people think is better and it is probably but most people argue because they think you are better treated by doctors and in hospital but you're just not! I had an appointment at 16:30 today and it was not before 17:43 that they called my name up!!! and then the whole thing didn't last until 18:00 and the bill is over 202 euros! thats just ridiculous! I don't know about the money but the time I had to wait! So so stupid!
Another thing which is bothering me right now is money. I do have saved quite a lot right now but most of the money will be spent in Australia for either now my six week long trip or needed during my internship there which starts in june next year but still. I do need new stuff once in a while. right now I am looking for a new pair of jeans cause the latest ones I bought from H&M on sale for 5 € just happend to become too big... I don't understand how this is still happening. and I hate it. Last week I wanted to give blood but the refused to because I didnt weight enough. Stupid. And I don't eat healthy or regular or what ever... I don't eat junk food but still, when I eat I do eat a lot. I talked about this today with one of my flatmates how my allergies and stuff are good and bad in the same way. Good because I do have to check what I am eating and that's why I don't buy much processed food nor heaps of dairy things or sweets but bad because I have to spent a lot of money for food and sometimes it is quite hard to find something to eat for me which depresses me too. Argh. I wish I had no allergies. And now the orange time started again, how I hate it. my skin started to look like if I were 13 again and it is just not fun at all. It is seriously going on my nerves and there is nothing to do about this allergy because how should I be able to skip oranges, or more Limonene's, it is not possible! it is almost everywhere! Hate, hate, hate it. I do have to take of the skin of most of all fruit and veggies so I can be sure that there is less Limonene's on them now and having people around eating oranges is just a pain. I start to feel dizzy and my skin turns red and itchy too.
Oh I could go on and on and on...

:/ I'm sitting here on my desk and try to study but it is not going well. I have all the important things in one document and its 6 pages long :/ how am I supposed to get all that into my head? until tomorrow 10 am? why didn't I start earlier, as usual... I'm always too late... and how do you get only the important stuff into your head? anyway. I'm going to make dinner now. potatoes and violet carrots in the oven and some fish out of the frying pan... oh how I miss my boyfriend cooking dinner for me, not long now! 31 days and 13,5 hours and I'm there!

We found a new flatmate and I think I'm soon living in berlins greatest flat!
We had some strange people here and J been over the top the best pick.
Weather was great today too and I baked nutcake, going to post some pictures and the recipe soon, so delicious!
Tomorrow uni at 8 so I'm in bed and my stomach is so full with cake, so good.

So I planned to bake german "Nussecken" which means nutcorners but I'm just too tired right now. Last night I've been at a bar in my part of Berlin which was really nice and I will go there again someday. After that we went to a concert which was a bit disappointing but I had some good chats with friends and a lot of dancing when my friends later were the DJs after the concert. Everything finished with Pommes at Alexanderplatz and a sleepy train ride back home, well not me, just everyone else.
Today I've been on a tour with the exchange students at my university, or a part of them and I heard a lot of new things about Berlin, the weather was really great and it was fun to be around with them. I had some nice talks with our intern at the international office and it just happens that she lives three to four streets aways from me!
Tomorrow there are people coming to look at our empty room and to introduce them self and I am not so looking forward to that. I hope the weather will be nice and I maybe get time to go out a bit and for baking!
So now I make a cup of tea, hop into bed and read a bit in my book and listen to some good music!
Over and Out.

So the last times at my uni work I never had much to do and mostly it was drinking tea, talking to my coworker and keeping her from doing her work, but today I finally got stuff to do, and oh how good is it to finally be able to do something good with your time. Ok, it is nice to get paid for doing nothing but strange how quick that turns out to be boring!
So today I got a few duties but been stopped by our 'opendoortime' or however you want to name the two hours when students can come and ask questions on how to go abroad. Well, some face were familiar and my boss was quite impressed by that and with the fact of my knowledge about Australian and Swedish universities. After that I got to feed our databank with different things, go to write email, had my first phone call, send my first letter and many more to do. It might sound strange but I am happy that I am finally able to do work and I am looking forward to the time when I can host these two hours by myself and don't need to sit next to my boss listening to what she is saying.
After work I used the information there to do more study about my plan of serving an internship in Australia and got some more information, back home I was able to send more applications and some other mails related to these things.
Now I am waiting for a response of my date for an interview and some other informations from different people.
Now I should start doing uni work as in study for my actual courses or rather do some exercises or should I rather go for a run (it's dark, cold and windy...)...?

When you decide to take action!
So, the last days it always been on my mind. How am I going to get that one course where our teacher (or whatever you say for someone at university) decided to put regular attendance as a criteria to pass the course or not. I tried talking to him if there is a way around for me but there is not the easy way. So now I read all the regulationframeworks (or whatever you call them in english) with all the details about my university's policy about the study, how to study, about exams and criteria for exams etc etc. and in the end I wrote a pretty long email to the chief of my department with the request to keep my name out of it and to make a decision soon. Friends of mine read the mail and where pretty impressed by what I found out and the style I wrote and where proud of me doing this step, while people who I study with been too frightened to take any action. Our teacher is really good with names and faces so he knows everyone, so I do can understand if they think, arguing with him puts them in a worse state during studies while others, I can understand this. but what would be against the whole course of 26 people signing the mail all together? Why isn't that possible? It is so typical, you can argue and be angry and it puts you in a bad mood, but taking action and do something against it, one don't.
After I clicked the send button, a great feeling of relief and relaxation went through me and it just felt so so good. It is somehow easy to put me in a bad mode, and to get me out there it is rather hard. That's why I am just so happy I tried my best with writing this email and now I can only hope and wish that our chief is going to do something about it. Somehow I know that my name won't stay out of it, mainly because I've been the one talking with him about a special way for me, but we will see how it goes. And in the end, I'm proud I did something then just going with something I really disliked and which is so clearly against my university's politics!

But I'm quite sure that you'll tell me Just how I should feel today
Monday morning and I just want back into my bed. Yesterday my flatmates and I been at IKEA which was a fun trip, we needed some stuff for the flat but of course ended up with nothing cause we couldn't decide what to get. different taste of colors come together... The day ended with us three sitting in front of the television watching Tatort, which is a typical german tv series in different cities and somehow actual topics of politics or other things are mixed into a crime movie, and they do all well every single time. So that's what we do Sundays at 20:15.
On Saturday I've been to a concert of great San Cisco and afterwards danced all night long into the next morning together with some friends, much appreciated night. We took pictures in my favorite photobooth on the way back home.
Today is monday and a stressful week is waiting for me. 19,5 hours of uni classes, 14 hours of work and a city tour with all the exchange students on saturday. I need to start running, like seriously, I wanted to start today but got out of bed way too late. Now C is blocking the bathroom and I'm bit worried it might take too long and I end up getting too late to uni. So breakfast first.

Saturday, already?
First week of uni is over and I've been to all my courses which is kind of something special, I think it never happened before actually... Still not all of my courses started yet and I still haven't figured out which individual courses I am going to take.
At my uniwork, the students can enroll in a course called 'cultural training' which gives 4 ECTS points and I still haven't asked my boss if it would be possible for me to take that course too, which would be so great. Its not on a regular basis and you visit museums and go on citytours and heaps of different cool things which a bunch of great people, oh, would be so good and a big relief. I still hope I can get into any english course and hope my teacher will be fine with the fact of me missing five lessons due to the fact that I will be in Australia.
We still don't know for sure if we do have to get a certain amount of cedit points before we can do our internships... But, today, I finally send FIVE emails out to companies in Melbourne if it is possible to do an internship at their offices, fingers crossed here!

So, today I've been working the whole day. First five hours at uni where I didn't do that much but I get paid anyway of course and then with half an hour break I worked at the cafe too for only four hours but much more stress and work.
Had bread and cheese for dinner which is totally fine with me and now I'm trying to relax with a bit of crocheting.

Yammie?
So back at uni, I'm back in searching for food I can eat for lunch which is due to all my allergies kind of hard most of the time...
Today I decided to try rice with ratatouille and oh how disgusting it was, good I had an apple with me...

back from the start.
So. Today university started for me again. at 8 am. No good start at all. Way too early. I forgot my tea in my keepcup in the kitchen and remembered it while we ate lunch at 11.30 !
So, every second week on mondays I start at 8.15 am, having a course in cartographic data processing. Today he talked about exel... so boring. Later one the course cartographic print media started and by the end of this semester I have to hand something which could be used in a calendar. That course every year creates a calendar which then will be sold to everyone and if you're happy and you did good, your print will be in there. So we had to choose a region to create a calendar page about. I took the Australian Grampians National Park in Victoria where I will be around December!
I've been at the post office as well, getting my shoes, but sadly, they don't fit so I'm going to send them back, and they are so pretty... but no point in buying shoes which are too small... :(
And still no good news about a possible new phone contract. I'm sick of it. No energy to bother about it any more. So no new phone for me, no new contract, just so sick of it.
Tonight my last flatmate is coming back to Berlin and we celebrate with ordering sushi for dinner, oh, how am I looking forward to that!

what a friday night...
while my flatmate is preparing to go out and party, I just printed 26 excercise papers and some exampapers as well... Oh how am I looking forward to this weekend? Not at all. But I have to and we will see how it's going, Monday at 10 am... I hate exams, and I hate myself, once again, for starting too late to study but that's how it is. Nothing to change about now... And don't want to move the exam into my finaly semester when I have to write and creat my thesis and still have 3 other courses to do... buhuhu.

microwave pumpkin!
So today after uniwork, which was bit boring cause I didn't really had to that much but say 'hi, how are you, all good with you in Berlin...' maybe 40 times, I went to a slightly bigger supermarket on my way from uni back home, with the thought of only buying milk and yoghurt but ended up with so much more and one of the things was a microwave pumpkin. apparently it comes from Japan, or the original ones do, and it is meant to be cooked in the microwave, or it is possible to cook it in there, oven works fine too.
So this is how my dinner went...
So this is how my dinner went...
this is the pumkin, it is not that big and serves one person really well, ok I'm used, as a vegetarian to not eat too much...
cut of the top part and get all the seeds and strings out
put it in the microwave like this for 5 min and then with the top on again for 5 more min.
in the meantime I made a sourcream-yoghurt-thing, onion, garlic, tomato, curcumber
chop it fine, fine, fine.
add salt and pepper and mix everything well (tomato and cucumber is inside here as well)
I had some turkish bread from my local dönerplace with it
watched more white collar and paused the triple j radio
pink stuff I'm drinking is magnesia mixed in water and some vitamins
and this is the end.
it really tastes great and its a fun thing to eat. I first ate it out of the pumpkin but later on I (and now my english to explain does not exist anymore...) anyway, just don't forget to eat everything besides the skin :)

Tuesday and it feels like Thursday!
Got up really early this morning (6am) studied and talked to my boyfriend had a power nap and went off to my exam which started at 10am finished around 12 ate lunch at uni, finally again after two month of summer break, got home, more talk with R and then off to work again which was really strange, never started working at 4pm, no customers and you only clean and nothing else... Had a great iced-vanilla-chocolate-coffe-latte and good talks. And I got surprised by the weather! When I'm in my room and the curtains are closed its always low temperature and I have to wear a cardigan even if it's really hot outside so it sometimes really surprises me how warm it is in Berlin which happened today as well. So instead of a nice morning run I went for a evening run instead, always trying new routs around my block. Then two of my very good friends here in Berlin came over to eat left over soup which I brought from work together with bread and some really cheap organic red wine which didn't taste great at all but good conversations and party make up for that. We've been catching up on so much things and it was really needed. So now I'm going to bed with a big of. heavy head. Working in uni tomorrow and I'm looking forward to talking English with all the exchange students, meeting new friends and get to know more people! And a bit of trigonometry study will also happen, hopefully... Exam on Monday!!!!
