So the last times at my uni work I never had much to do and mostly it was drinking tea, talking to my coworker and keeping her from doing her work, but today I finally got stuff to do, and oh how good is it to finally be able to do something good with your time. Ok, it is nice to get paid for doing nothing but strange how quick that turns out to be boring!
So today I got a few duties but been stopped by our 'opendoortime' or however you want to name the two hours when students can come and ask questions on how to go abroad. Well, some face were familiar and my boss was quite impressed by that and with the fact of my knowledge about Australian and Swedish universities. After that I got to feed our databank with different things, go to write email, had my first phone call, send my first letter and many more to do. It might sound strange but I am happy that I am finally able to do work and I am looking forward to the time when I can host these two hours by myself and don't need to sit next to my boss listening to what she is saying.
After work I used the information there to do more study about my plan of serving an internship in Australia and got some more information, back home I was able to send more applications and some other mails related to these things.
Now I am waiting for a response of my date for an interview and some other informations from different people.
Now I should start doing uni work as in study for my actual courses or rather do some exercises or should I rather go for a run (it's dark, cold and windy...)...?
